Rowing Training – it will come as no surprise to learn that teaching people to row, and row well, is at the heart of what I do as a specialist personal trainer. I have a track record of teaching rowing technique to clients within a short space of time, and once acquired the ergo offers one of the very best forms of low impact, full body aerobic and resistance workout. My rowing programmes are then designed to cover base cardiovascular endurance along with high intensity interval training to help you meet your fitness targets.
Strength & Conditioning – the importance of weight-bearing resistance training and core stability work cannot be overstated, and is an integral element of the programmes my clients will adopt. This kind of training is vital for maintaining good posture and preventing injury, and adherence to regular training is an excellent way to build and tone lean muscle, and to burn fat. It does not necessarily involve lifting heavy weights – much of the work I do with clients will involve simple body-weight exercises.
Suspension Training – a fantastic workout method that uses your body weight and gravity as resistance to build strength, and improve balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability simultaneously. It’s also a highly portable training tool allowing for hundreds of different exercises of varying intensities to be easily performed in the gym, outdoors in the park, or in the comfort of your home.
MMA Fitness Training – utilising Mixed Martial Arts techniques in the fitness environment is a great way for improving body composition, enhancing bone strength, core strength and flexibility, and for weight loss. It perfectly combines muscle-building, strength training moves and calorie-burning, stress-busting bouts of cardiovascular exercise.
